His last stint was as COO - Viacom 18 Media Pvt Ltd, where he steered the flagship brand Colors to unprecedented success. He curated and green lit path-breaking projects which went on to create history on Indian Television. Namrata’s last assignment was Executive Vice President - Youth, Music and English Entertainment for Viacom18 Media Pvt Ltd, which she relinquished to set up House of Cheer. She was part of the leadership team responsible for the launch of their English Entertainment Business in India. In her prior stints she has worked with some of the largest media houses like Star India Pvt Ltd and NDTV Media Pvt Ltd where she was one of the founder members. DEEPAK KRISHNANKUTTY studied Electronics in university but started his career in the machine tool industry. After working at various locations in the United Kingdom (Scotland, Cumbria, Wales and the West Midlands) for a few years, with the erstwhile Verson International PLC, a multi-national machine tool group, he returned to India to represent the group and market its products in the region to the steel, automotive and their allied industries - eventually heading the Indian office. During his tenure, he also spearheaded a diversification for the group, after they acquired an IT company in London, to set up and manage a back office for them in Bangalore, designing and developing web-based solutions for the newly acquired UK subsidiary. In parallel, he also set up and transition-managed a separate offshore office and business in Bangalore, for a group associate - a media company based out of Dubai - till handing it over, a year later. With his background in electronics and computer science, coupled to his intrinsic interest in Information Management and Automation, he was primed to manage these interesting offshore diversifications for the group.
After working for over a decade and a half with the UK group, which included extensive international and domestic business travel, Deepak decided to forge out on his own and now runs an independent machine tool marketing agency and project consultancy, based out of Bangalore. While his primary business has been within the machine tool industry, over the years he has also provided valuable techno-commercial support to industries as varied as Oil & Natural Gas equipment, Audio & Video systems with integration, IT systems, Event Management, Real Estate, Garment exports and recently even Craft Beer for the growing artisanal market in India. He has a large and diverse business contact network and is considered a valuable ‘connector’ to open the right doors and get things done. He brings three decades of experience, networking and knowledge to any new venture - with excellent implementation and communication skills.
By nature, Deepak is an inherent researcher and keeps abreast of a range of cutting-edge global technologies and their implications on industry and society, in these rapidly evolving times. He has a keen and analytical mind, driven by an intuitive sense of logic which allows him to comprehend technology and its essence, across many platforms, usually faster and deeper than most people. Deepak’s personal interests include reading, fitness, swimming, music, internet content and travel. He is a keen weekend golfer and involved in the management of the game too – being on the internal committees for golf course and event management at his home club, Karnataka Golf Association, for the past several years. He was educated at St Joseph’s Boys High School and St Joseph’s College, both in Bangalore, after which he went to Yuvaraja’s College in Mysore. He also did summer courses at NIIT Bangalore, in computer science.
MANDY is a Visual Branding Advisor and Creative professional. For over 19 years, he has provided creative consultancy to a myriad of Indian and international companies in diversified businesses, towards developing their visual brand identity, communication design and improving their creative quotients.
His exacting nature makes him create benchmarks in the area of branding and design. He is an exhibited digital artist with many art series in progress. An intrepid traveller, his wanderlust has taken him on extensive journeys to the Himalayas with captivating experiences. Being a nonconformist is the integral quality of how he lives and connects with people. He is a storyteller and an aspiring chef.
RADHIKA Palkar is a practising Chartered Accountant for over 8 years, specialising in the fields of corporate audits, cross border advisory services and certifications for overseas remittances. Her notable experience was with Price Waterhouse where she has spent over 3 years performing audits and limited review assignments of various listed and private companies. Some of the major clients handled during her tenure with PWC include Kellogg’s India Pvt Ltd, Reliance Infrastructure, Sodexo SVC India Pvt Ltd, CMA CGM India Pvt Ltd and DHL Lemuir Logistics Pvt Ltd. For a brief period, she also worked with KPMG in their Global International Corporate Tax Department where she handled assignments that involved advising the client, as well as, handling compliance issues of Domestic and International Taxation and FEMA Regulations
From 2013 onwards, she has been associated with her father’s CA firm, AH Palkar & Co. Currently she has been actively involved in the areas of corporate taxation, statutory and internal audits, various advisory and due diligence assignments.
